J bought me a beautiful old minolta in a leather case. I think he bought it solely because of the case. But we finally got some film processed and delightedly, it takes absolutely gorgeous pictures, is really easy to load and remove film from and more reliable than some of my other old cameras. New favourite. Photo: James by Heff

Diana F+ I love you but you’re freaking me out.

£25 to get the film processed. Aaargh. So (logically) i’ve dropped more money on a colorsplash. Seems more durable and thankfully takes standard 35 mm film. So i’ll be able to take pictures like this, and even afford to get them processed. Joy…I can’t wait till it arrives. Images via lomography.com

Polaroids of course

This week they announced the Impossible Project was in fact a success…so they’ll be producing instant cameras and film again next year. This news almost warrants an exclamation mark, but i hate exclamation marks, pWarhol Polaroidrobably more than any other punctuation device. But i digress…this is supposed to be stuff i like. We’re going to cycle down to the Pumphouse in Battersea to mark the occasion

Also I love this coat …i really want this coat, cue much internal arguing on the merits of buying a new coat when shortly moving home to Sydney. It gets cold in Sydney…sometimes…

Happy thoughts of cruisy festivals with the brother

This necklace, just realised how terribly on (blog) brand it is

Apple crumble this weekend…with Shrewsbury apples that we shook from a real live apple tree in a real live English country garden.
